You all know that summer vacation is coming up right around the corner. I bet you also know Mrs. Ranalli, the enrichment teacher. Well, I'm going to show you one nice recipe that belongs to Mrs. Ranalli. Her recipe is called........
Mrs. Ranalli's Ice Cream Sandwich Cake
You need...
1 pkg. 24 ice cream sandwiches ,1 pkg. Oreo Cookies
2 tubs Cool Whip ,1 bottle chocolate sauce

Remember to please wash hands and have adult supervision when working with food.
Fill the bottom of a 9x13 pan with one layer of ice cream sandwhiches.
You will use 12 sandwiches, but may need to cut some, to make them fit the pan.
Cover sandwiches with a layer of Cool Whip. Crush Oreos in a Ziploc bag, and
sprinkle on the Cool Whip. Drizzle chocolate sauce on top. Lay a 2nd layer of
sandwiches on top and repeat with the Cool Whip,Oreos and chocolate sauce.
Freeze for 2 hours, cut & enjoy.

You also know Ms.Oh, the third grade teacher. She is mostly known for her delicious cookies.
I have one of her recipes not the cookie recipe. At the end of each year Ms. Oh gives out her cookie recipe only to those that are in her class. I bet most of you wish I had the cookie recipe.
But I don't. I have this recipe...........

Ms. Oh's Banana Bread You need...
1 stick melted butter, 1 1/2 c. flour,

1 1/2 c. sugar , 3/4 tsp. baking soda,
2 eggs , 1/2 tsp. salt,
1/4 c. buttermilk,

1/2 c. chopped walnuts,

2 tsp. vanilla sugar to sprinkle on top,
1 c. mashed bananas (about 3).

Preheat oven to 350 . Combine melted butter,sugar,eggs,buttermilk,
and vanilla together. Then add mashed bananas to mixture, and
combine again. In a seperate bowl, mix flour, salt,and baking soda.
Sift dry ingredients together. Add the dry ingredients to the banana
mixture and combine together . Add walnuts, if you like. Grease 1 loaf
pan, and pour mixture in pan. Sprinkle with sugar on top. Bake for one
hour or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted in cake.
( Do Not Add Walnuts If You Are Allergic)

Now I have a couple of dinner recipes up my sleeve. Have any of YOU had spaghetti with meat sauce. If you love spaghetti with meat sauce, you are going to love this reicpe. It's called......

Spaghetti With Chunky Meat Sauce
1 lb. Jimmy Dean's sausage (roll), 1 pkt. Lawry's or McCormcks spaghetti seasoning,
1.5-2 lbs. ground beef, 2 bay leaves, 2 jars of spaghetti sauce (your choice),
1-2 T. minced garlic, 1 large white onion, 1 can diced tomatoes,
1 large green pepper, 1 box spaghetti noodles,
1 pkg. fresh mushrooms, parmesan cheese.


First, chop up the onion and green pepper saute in a pan with
olive oil. Then, throw in the garlic. In a seperate pan, brown the sausage
and ground beef. Try to keep the meat chunky, by chopping it with a

spatula while it cooks. Drain the grease occasionally. Next mix the
meat with the cans of sauce, diced tomatoes, onion/pepper mix, bay
leaves, sliced mushrooms, and seasoning packet. Bring the mixture to
a boil, then simmer for about an hour to an hour and a 1/2. Make sure to
stir sauce occasionally. Once the sauce cools, you can add salt, if
needed. Top off with parmesan cheese. Boil the spaghetti noodles in
a seperate pot. When noodles are ready, drain and return to pot. Keep
noodles and sauce seperate. Serve the sauce over the noodles and
ENJOY!

This is my last recipe. So I hope you like it. We all know Mrs.Parisi, the computer teacher.
Now, this last recipe is hers. It's called.....

Minestrone Soup
3 T. olive oil, 2 potatoes,
1/2 stick butter, 1 zucchini sliced,
5-6 slices prosciutto ham diced, 1 bay leaf,
1 large can plum tomatoes, 1 can garbanzo beans,
1 large onion, 1 can white lima beans,
3-4 cloves garlic chopped, 6 c. chicken stock,
5 stalks celery, salt and pepper to taste,
2 c. carrots sliced


Heat oil and butter, and saute prosciutto. Add chopped onion and

garlic, and cook until transparent. Add all veggies except zuccini, along
with the beans, stock and seasonings. Simmer for about 30 minutes,
then add zuccini and cook until carrots are tender. Remove the bay
leaf. Top with parmesan cheese when ready to serve.
