In my opinion, Oasis Water Park is the best pool in the Niles area. There are many fun things like a drop slide, diving boards, and a very deep pool! There is also a food court and a little kids area. For the adults who just want to relax and maybe get a tan, there are many comfortable chairs surrounding the pools. Oasis is located on 7877 N Milwaukee Ave. They are open on Monday thru Thursday from 11am to 8pm, on Friday from 11am to 9pm, and on Sunday 10am to 9pm. That leaves many hours to have some fun in the sun (and the pool)! Admission for children between the ages of 3-12 costs $6 for residents and non-residents. For adult residents it costs $8 and non-residents it costs $11. For seniors (62 and up) the cost is $6 for residents and $9 for non. If you go there a lot, you can get a pass, too. Passes are reasonably priced, which you can see here:

If you would like to go somewhere fun for free, there are many parks in Niles. Many of the parks have different things to do, so let me break it down for you. Some of the parks around (and at) Culver are Culver park (of course), Nico park, Point park, and Kirklane park. I'm sure you all know the exciting things to do at Culver park, like go on swings, seesaw, play basketball, baseball, and many more. Nico park has a baseball diamond, a tennis court, and lots of playground equiptment! Point park has many things for younger kids like a playground "fire truck" and swings. Kirk has a tennis court, a basketball court, a big hill, playground equpitment, and many trees perfect for climbing. SO if you want to have some simple fun outdoors, check out some of Niles' parks.

Niles is also known to have an exciting 4th of July Parade that is attended by many members of the community. This is a free event where everyone that is fun for all ages. Whether you are marching in or watching the parade it is sure to be an enjoyable way to spend the day! Look around, because you are sure to see many of your friends at the 4th of July Parade.
